Hapuku Kitchen - Cooking Classes

At its heart, Hapuku Kitchen is focused on reconnecting the kitchen to the land and sea, celebrating the abundant larder nature has to offer and taking inspiration from the wild landscape. We invite you into our home, located between the Kaikoura mountains and the Pacific Ocean, for a culinary adventure that celebrates the season. We promise you’ll experience the very best ingredients caught, picked and gathered from the region and depart with a deeper understanding of the food on your plate. Our half-day and full-day experiences include a tour of our property involving harvesting and foraging from our gardens, hands-on cooking, creating and enjoying a seasonal feast, local wine/beer, a Hapuku apron and recipe booklet.
