    Destination & Attraction

    The key purpose of this position is to grow Christchurch and Canterbury as a destination, gateway and preferred location for visitation through tourism, attractions, international education, business events and major events. The Destination and Attraction team will ensure high quality infrastructure and support operators to grow world class offerings. It will ensure a diverse portfolio of major events and grow the maturity of the sector. It aims for Christchurch to reclaim its status as a premier conference destination in Australasia.

    Additionally, the General Manager of Destination & Attraction will be responsible for i-SITE and the tourism and convention bureau business partner programme.

  • Social Media Specialist

    The purpose of this position is to be responsible for leading best-practice social media management, ensure all social strategies, responses and content are aligned with the value and strategic priorities of CNZ. The role is also responsible for the day-to-day proactive and reactive management of our social media channels supporting community management and providing expert advice to our wider group. The role requires high level of creativity and expert knowledge of audience engagement, data analytics and paid advertising with a strong understanding of delivering on insight led recommendations.
