Expedition Cruise to the Subantarctic and Antarctica

The Subantarctic Islands of New Zealand are important wildlife refuges and UNESCO World Heritage sites, only reachable by ship. The islands are home to a vast array of wildlife including albatross, penguins, petrels and marine mammals. We will then head to New Zealand's Ross Dependency in Antarctica.

Our time in Antarctica may vary but will be action packed as we Zodiac cruise giant icebergs, whale watch, observe penguin colonies, visit New Zealand's Scott Base and are privileged enough to visit early explorers' huts, carefully preserved by New Zealand's Antarctic Heritage Trust. These huts were described by Sir David Attenborough as "a time warp without parallel".

Expeditions depart January and February, limited cabins available.
