Pick up from your accommodation. Drive to the farm near Springfield (80 kms, 1 hour). Enjoy the changing view as we drive towards the foothills of the Southern Alps. See a sheep dog demonstration and try your hand at shedding sheep. Afterwards take a photo with the sheepdog.
Enjoy lovely views of Waimakariri River and Southern Alps as a back drop See a sheep shearing demonstration. Conclude tour with homemade morning or afternoon tea scones and cookies. There's also options available to combine the tour with horseriding, jet boating, golf or lunch.

On this 4 hour tour I will guide you to 3 Prize winning flower gardens in Christchurch and the winning street gardens and winning factory garden. Meet the gardeners who create these gardens and be guided by myself who has a keen interest in organic vegetable gardening.
