Off Centre
Off Centre is The Arts Centre’s very own arts festival weekend on 8-9 March. Eclectic and exuberant, celebrating the best of the arts, Off Centre is everything Ōtautahi loves about The Arts Centre.
For two nights and one day, The Arts Centre will be bursting with music, comedy, circus, theatre, food, and vibrant entertainment. Off Centre is a solid mix of arts and entertainment for everyone, with family-friendly and free events as well as ticketed performances.
BLACKCAPS v Australia
The final Test of the year! See the BLACKCAPS take on rivals Australia at Hagley Oval in the 2nd Test from 8-12 March. Get in quick as tickets are expected to sell fast!
Crusaders At Home
The most successful rugby club in the world, and it’s your home team! Head down to Apollo Projects Stadium on 15 March to see the lads take on the Hurricanes, 29 March against the Chiefs, 26 April versing the Rebels, the Reds on 4 May, the Blues on 25 May and Moana Pasifika on 31 May.

After thirty seasons in the making, the One New Zealand Warriors return to the mainland in Season 2024! Their Round Three NRL premiership fixture on 22 March against the Canberra Raiders is set to be a blockbuster!

ITM New Zealand Sail Grand Prix | Christchurch
The most exciting racing on water is coming back to Ōtautahi, Christchurch! The F50s will soon be flying on Whakaraupō Lyttelton Harbour when the ITM New Zealand Sail Grand Prix returns on 23-24 March 2024. SailGP is live action racing as you’ve never experienced it before. Following its sold out debut last year, 2024 will deliver more thrills, more spills and more excitement. Tickets are selling fast!
The Single Fin Mingle
A festival of surfing, culture, music and mingling, The Single Fin Mingle is a uniquely Christchurch event. Taking place in the popular surfing suburb of Sumner over three days and four nights, expect music and street parties, hang 10s in the surfing contest, cool outfits and sunset vibes.
The Single Fin Mingle kicks off from sundown on 4 April and wraps up well past sunset on 7 April. Get down to the beach for smooth tunes and cool people.
