New Years Eve at Hagley Park
31 December 2025
Ring in the new year at North Hagley Park with family friendly fun. With a ‘kids countdown’ from 4-7pm, followed by a New Years Eve party from 8pm - midnight featuring Kora, with support from local acts Dillastrate, Brad Staley and DJ Sambora.
Banksy

The world-famous exhibition, The Art of Banksy, is coming to Christchurch. Featuring over 150 original artworks, prints and installations by the elusive street artist, this is your final chance to experience Banksy’s most iconic pieces in New Zealand.
World Buskers Festival
23 January – 1 February 2026
Christchurch’s favourite street festival is officially back, bringing ten days of wild, world-class street performance to the heart of the city. Get ready for another unforgettable summer of comedy, cabaret, circus and chaos!

Crankworx
19 - 22 February 2026
Crankworx returns to Christchurch Adventure Park this summer for some epic downhill racing. The 2026 festival isn’t just for the pros—it will provide a chance for local up-and-coming riders to race alongside national and global heroes on two purpose-built courses!
Electric Avenue
26 - 27 February 2026
The ultimate Christchurch party is back for another year! Electric Avenue will return to Hagley Park for two days of epic music and good times, with a stacked line up featuring Kesha, Dom Dolla, Split Endz and Becky Hill.
