Christchurch offers the perfect base for you to discover New Zealand’s tallest mountain Aoraki/Mount Cook in this full day tour.

Highlights include the Canterbury Plains which offer rich pastoral farmland. We break in Geraldine for a morning tea stop and then continue through Burkes Pass to Lake Tekapo & the Church of the Good Shepherd. Later we will see Lake Pukaki, a stunning glacial-fed lake and Aoraki/Mt Cook. Then enjoy a full buffet lunch (available as a pre-booked option) at the Hermitage Hotel.
