Ōtautahi Christchurch, get ready for an evening of delicious Pacific kai, culture, creativity and community!

Moana Vā invites you, your whānau, friends and workmates to our Taste of the Pacific Night Market, celebrating the amazing flavours, cultures and talents of our Pacific, Queer and wider multicultural communities.

Whether you're craving a taste of home, keen to try something new or just looking for a fun evening out, we've got something for everyone!

Our fantastic food stallholders will be bringing a delicious variety of Pacific and international flavours, including:

    • Pacific-inspired bags and crafts
    • Independent zines, illustrations and artwork
    • Tarot and witchy treasures
    • Specialty teas, cacao and botanical creations
    • Cook Islands crafts and cultural products
    • We're especially proud to have Pacific and Queer creatives and small businesses joining us. Come meet the people behind the stalls and support their mahi!

Don't let the weather put you off!

If it rains, our arts, crafts and non-food stalls will move indoors, while food stalls and food trucks will continue operating outside. There will also be indoor seating available so you can sit down and enjoy your kai comfortably. Bring your friends, bring the kids, bring your workmates and bring your appetite!

Come support local Pacific and Queer businesses, discover new flavours and enjoy an evening celebrating the beautiful diversity of our communities.

Proudly brought to you by Moana Vā in collaboration with the Electoral Commission.
