I will facilitate us creating healing music together, bringing any kind of drum is welcome but not required. This meeting is participatory but no previous experience or training in music is expected, and it is ok to just listen and observe to begin with if you prefer. I will work with the group, getting us to hum and drum together, step by step, in ways that I trust will never be embarrassing for anyone but rather be very enjoyable, healing and rather freeing! Anyone is welcome to come to this group whether it be just once, or occasionally, or to the regular monthly meeting. Admission is free.
Creating music has been my life’s joy since I was a boy and I have been deeply interested in meditation since I was a young man. My thoughts on this subject have been put into an eBook called ‘the Healing Journey’ which, along with some audio meditations that support the book, can be found at the top of the music and meditation page on my website.
As the book is free, and because these new monthly meetings at All Soul’s Church are also free, I must emphasise that I am not a part of any religious or spiritual organisations and that there are no hidden agendas or strings of any kind attached to any of this. I believe that we all want and need inner peace and love, and this is my offering to help towards those great goals, even if it might be only in the tiniest way, so I hope you will come along and I would love to see you there!
