Creative Gothic: Explore Te Matatiki Toi Ora|

This event is part of Christchurch City Libraries Urban Explorations series. Rediscover the central city and join us for one of a series of walks around Tūranga’s neighbourhood, the heart of Ōtautahi. 

The Hidden Gothic walking tour of Te Matatiki Toi Ora The Arts Centre is a behind the scenes tour of the gothic revival architecture featured within Te Matatiki Toi Ora. Meet on the ground floor of the Clock Tower at 2 Worcester Boulevard.

Join us for a cup of tea and biscuits on return to the library.

There is also the option to stay on at the library and join Creative Gothic: Sketch Te Mataiki Toi Ora, an event that creatively connects two of Ōtautahi's key cultural intuitions. Sketch@Tūranga participants are invited to work on a sketch of something they explored during the morning’s walking tour or develop a pre-made template. The sketching event is free with no booking required (see separate listing).

 Participants are able to attend both, or either activity - booking is required for the walking tour.
