Christchurch Photo Hunt 2026

These photographs are made available via the Discovery Wall and form part of the permanent heritage collections housed on Canterbury Stories at Christchurch City Libraries.

Participants will have the option to submit their photographs directly to Discoverywall.nz or via the library website using an online form throughout all of October.

If you have physical photos, you could attend the Digitise Your Photos event at Linwood Library (see separate event listing) where you can have your photos digitised and entered into Photo Hunt or go to a library with scanning equipment where you can scan and submit your own photos.

Photographs entered into Photo Hunt are judged and Riverside Market vouchers are awarded to an overall winner as well as People and Places category winners.
