Lincoln is the Southern Hemisphere’s oldest land-based university. From Agribusiness to Landscape Architecture, Viticulture and Oenology to Tourism, Lincoln offers a wide range of degrees relevant for today and ready for tomorrow.

Mairehau High School is located near many recreational facilities such as golf courses, driving ranges, a swimming complex, mountain biking tracks and much more. A wide range of sporting, musical, drama and cultural options are also available which includes an annual international festival. A high priority is placed on preparing students for study at university and other tertiary institutions.

Merrin School is a vibrant, multi-cultural school with approximately 500 students. Students are encouraged to pursue their passions and interests in caring and connected learning environments. 

Middleton Grange School is an integrated co-educational school for students from 5-18 years of age (Years 1-13) that provides a supportive family environment.

Mount Hutt College is located in Methven, a town within a beautiful rural area with a wide range of agricultural and tourism businesses and many outdoor recreation activities.

NTA is a diverse Vocational Training Institute that offers land-based training including: Agriculture, Horticulture, Equine and Animal Care. We also have a Commercial and Private Pilot Licence training scheme and an English Language Academy. We have campuses in Oamaru (at the local Airport for Pilot training), on the outskirts of Christchurch (Farm and Equestrian centre), and in the centre of Christchurch city (English Academy).

New Zealand College of Business (NZCB) is recognised by both the New Zealand Ministry of Education (code: 1327) and the New Zealand Qualification Authority (NZQA) (code: 7653).

The National Trade Academy (NTA) has offered vocational training since 2000, and from 2004 we have offered courses to international students in the agricultural and equine fields. As many of our international students do not speak English as their first language, we now provide English language courses for the benefit of current and future students.

Oaklands School is a primary school in Halswell, to the south-west of Christchurch city centre.

Oxford Area School is a growing Year 1-13 school of approximately 520 students with less than 10 internationals. Our homestays are located in the village within walking distance of the school or on lifestyle or working farms located on the school bus route. Students who love fresh air, the outdoors and animals will love being here.
