The Human Interface Technology Lab | Hangarau Tangata, Tangata Hangarau is a world-leading research centre within the University of Canterbury. Established in 2002, the HIT Lab NZ focuses on Virtual and Augmented Reality, Applied Games, and Human-Robot Interaction. The HIT Lab NZ currently leads and supports technical elements of several research projects in and around Antarctica, including science communication and virtual visitation to sites in the Ross Sea region. We are always interested in exploring new research avenues with partners from across New Zealand.
