We welcome you to Avebury House. Come along and find out about the history of this heritage building and the wider suburb during our open day.
Richmond is an old suburb just north-east of the city. The Richmond History Group, which started at Avebury House in 2002, has been extending its collection of material about early families and personalities who have lived in Richmond.
Visit the history room upstairs where much of our early Richmond material will be on display. This event will coincide with the Richmond Gala, hosted by Avebury House and the Richmond Community Garden. Explore the house and garden, enjoy a Devonshire tea and check out the vintage market.
It's going to be a fantastic family day out – don't miss it!
