Tall Tails Museum Hunt
You've heard some tall tales, but have you ever seen a very TALL TAIL? The Air Force Museum has a trail of tails at all scales for you to hunt these holidays.
Visit the Air Force Museum this school holidays and be wowed at the scale of our Tall Tails exhibition and then begin a museum hunt to discover a trail of tails! Will you be able to spot a golden tail, identify a skeleton tail or recognise a vampire’s tail?
Each hunt completed goes in the draw to win an exclusive tour inside our C-130H Hercules with a Hercules pilot as your guide.
Hunts are just $5 each and are one way you can support us on our mission to preserve and share New Zealand’s military aviation history.
Museum entry is free for New Zealanders and those living in Aotearoa New Zealand. We're open every day, with an on-site cafe and free parking available for you to enjoy.
