Snow Queen - A Stage Musical

There once was a Goblin Prince who created a magical mirror that only showed the dark side of everything.  His betrothed was so embittered by this mirror that she smashed it into a million pieces and became the recluse known as the Snow Queen.  From then on, every time it snowed, it was the Snow Queen sprinkling tiny shards of the mirror out into the world so that everyone else would know how she feels.

Time goes by and we meet Gerda and Kai, a happy young couple who encounter the curse of the mirror when shards of it fall into Kai’s eye in a snowstorm.  We follow Gerda on her journey through all of the seasons, to release Kai from the Snow Queen’s spell.  A show with lots of colour and music, to delight the whole family.

This show is staged by the Intermediate and senior Drama, Dance, Musical Theatre and Singing students of HSPA.
