Thrive is a community built by and for people living with acquired neurological conditions such as brain injury, FND, stroke, or mental health challenges.

The focus is on one thing: living your best life, in your place and at your pace.

Thrive is grounded in the 5 pillars of Move, Rest, Chat, Mood and Food, which support the “roof” of mental health. Thrive focuses on practical ways to rebuild confidence, reconnect with others and put mental health back at the centre of everyday life.

The fifth installment of our Thrive Speaker Series focuses on Rest, with Dr Steve Harris

Steve had a severe traumatic brain injury in a mountain bike accident in 2019. With rehab, he now carefully manages ongoing disability whilst working part-time as a paediatrician and child and adolescent psychiatrist.

Steve will do his best to wake you up with a session about the importance of rest and sleep in thriving with a neurological condition.
