Scouts Greater Christchurch Zone sources materials and assembles Pinewood Dery Car kits. The aim for making the kits available is to make holding a Pinewood Derby easier for leaders so that more youth can learn and have fun at a derby!
Pinewood Derby wheels are imported from the USA, and pine blocks are dressed and cut to order by a local timber yard - assembling the kits takes two large working bee sessions!
Come on down to Cowles Stadium and cheer on the derby action!
