Commercial sewing patterns, such as those brought from a store or online, sometimes require some tweaking in order to fit the body properly.
The tutor will explain how a flat pattern relates to the three-dimensional body and how and where to make adjustments to suit different body shapes. You will leave with a complete and accurate sewing pattern that you can then take home to begin your next sewing project.
Learners will need to provide their own store-bought pattern and some basic sewing supplies (full material list provided on the course information sheet).
