Make a Patchwork Bag
If you would like a new, original bag to carry your library books in, you can make it in this class. The front can be embroidered and the bag sewn by machine.

Paid event
If you would like a new original to carry your library books in, you can make it in this class. You will learn some wonderful new embroidery stitches as you put patchwork pieces together for the front of your bag. Then, with help, you can use a sewing machine to construct the bag and put on some long handles. You do not have to know any of these skills at the beginning of the day, but you will have learnt lots as you leave with the bag on your shoulder.
No previous experience is required. All materials are included in the cost, all you need is to bring your lunch and a drink.
Children must be at least 8 years old or above and there is a class limit of 10. Bookings are essential, your place in class will be confirmed when payment is received.
