Japanese Tea Ceremony Under Cherry Blossoms 2026
One session in the morning and two in the afternoon. We will be serving matcha (authentic matcha from Uji, Japan), handmade Japanese sweets, a sushi lunch box!
Kan-ow Chakai will back to Halswell Quarry (Kurashiki Garden) this year!
We display "Nodate" (outdoor tea gathering), which is our very popular events in Spring.
You can enjoy Macha (green powder tea from Uji, Kyoto) and Japanese traditional fresh sweets (handmade) in Kurashiki garden, beautiful Cherry forest.
Ticket comes together with special Hanami-bento (Chirashi Sushi) by Ekibenya, so that you can picnic before or after our tea gathering. (Green tea bottles are available at the venue, if you would like with Bento).
