The pace is gentle for this highly interactive course. You also get lots of step-by-step instructions to build your confidence. All materials are included in the fee. You also get to take home your beautiful artworks.
You will learn about:
• Hundertwasser and his work; why his colourful paintings and prints work so well
• line and shape; especially organic shapes and spirals, then explore how-to draw them
• colour, then have a go at painting bands of vibrant colours in his style using your new knowledge
• unusual angles and quirky features to draw
Creative Director of Art Grooves, Margaret Taylor graduated from The Learning Connexion (Diploma in Art & Creativity) 14 years ago. Then she ran a popular art education programme for KAC for over 8 years. Since re-locating to Christchurch Margaret has taught at WEA and throughout the Selwyn district for their library programme.
