Visitors to the Museum can learn about the construction of the power station at Lake Coleridge, and the railway that transported people, coal from the local mines, and the bricks and pipes which were produced at the Homebush Brick and Tile Works.
Also find information and objects relating to the early Post Office and telephone exchange at Glentunnel.
The town was originally named Surveyors Gully but was renamed Glentunnel after the tramway tunnel in the glen that gave access to the Homebush coal mine.
