Zen Stargazing invites you to experience Star Bathing, a 90-minute journey under Twizel’s pristine night sky. Designed for small groups of up to 10 people, this tour allows Japanese-speaking travellers to lie back on comfortable reclining chairs and fully immerse themselves in the stars. Using high-quality telescopes, guests can observe planets, stars, and constellations, guided with clear and engaging explanations. Star Bathing is about more than stargazing—it is a mindful escape that combines the awe of the universe with relaxation. Set in the Aoraki Mackenzie Dark Sky Reserve, it offers families, couples, and solo travellers a serene and unforgettable connection with the cosmos.

Conditions
Recommended for ages 6 and above. Small groups of up to 10 ensure a relaxed experience. Japanese-speaking guide available. Reclining chairs, blankets, hot water bottles, and hot chocolate are provided. The tour is outdoors—please dress warmly and bring a jacket. Transport from the meeting point to the site is included. Guests receive a complimentary digital photo under the stars and a Celestial Navigation certificate after the tour.
Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour. Cancellations within 24 hours, no-shows, or any changes due to personal reasons are non-refundable. Full refund is provided only in case of bad weather or unsafe conditions.
