View mapTake in awe-inspiring views of New Zealand’s alpine scenery on your stunning helicopter flight. Watch for the Tasman Glacier lake and marvel at the spectacular Hochstetter Icefall. On this trip you receive personalized ice climbing instruction. Using ice tools and the front points of your crampons, you climb vertical and at times overhanging ice walls and pinnacles always safely secured by a top rope attached to your harness. A good fitness level is required but no experience necessary. Cost includes two scenic flights, guide, specialised mountaineering boots, climbing boots, socks, gators, crampons, ice axes, technical gear, walking poles, jacket and over-trousers, gloves, special backpacks. Departs 8.00am.
