Swim in the wild alongside the endangered Hector's dolphin, the world's smallest & rarest dolphin, found only in New Zealand waters. Intimate tours with max 12 people. Guided by Department of Conservation approved practices & an expert crew trained in marine education, ensuring this rare encounter happens on the dolphins' terms, with minimal impact on their environment. Located in Akaroa, 90 minutes from Christchurch, this is the only place in the world to swim with Hector's dolphins.

Hector's dolphins are one of the world's rarest and smallest dolphins. Our skippers and nature guides are experienced at finding pods of Hector’s dolphins and enjoy a high success rate. We do fully respect natural behaviours of wildlife; in the unlikely event you don’t get to see any dolphins you’ll receive a complimentary ticket for our twice-daily Akaroa Nature Cruise to join us another day.
Cancellation Policy
Four days prior for group bookings.
No cancellation fee if cancelled more than 24 hours in advance for Free Independent Traveller (FIT) customers.
