Swim with rare Hector's dolphins in Akaroa's volcanic harbour on a private day tour from Christchurch, exclusively for your group. Your guide collects you from your hotel, so no one needs to drive. You take the scenic crater-rim route over Banks Peninsula, with a stop at a local cheese maker, then join a guided swim where wetsuit and gear are provided and the curious dolphins come to you in their natural home; you can also stay aboard and watch. Akaroa's French village and a curated lunch round out the day. A genuine, ethical wildlife encounter. Cancellation Policy
For day tours, cancellations with more than 7 days' notice are fully refundable. Cancellations between 7 days and 48 hours before departure incur a 50% fee; within 48 hours they are non-refundable. If we cancel for weather or operational reasons you receive a full refund or a free reschedule. We recommend travel insurance for all guests.
