You take the scenic crater-rim route over Banks Peninsula, with a stop at a local cheese maker, then paddle the sheltered volcanic harbour by guided sea kayak, gliding past cliffs, sea caves and resting fur seals, often among seabirds and rare Hector's dolphins; stable kayaks and full gear make it achievable with moderate fitness. Cancellation Policy
For day tours, cancellations with more than 7 days' notice are fully refundable. Cancellations between 7 days and 48 hours before departure incur a 50% fee; within 48 hours they are non-refundable. If we cancel for weather or operational reasons you receive a full refund or a free reschedule. We recommend travel insurance for all guests.
