Share the open ocean with hundreds of wild dusky dolphins on a private day tour from Christchurch to Kaikōura, exclusively for your group. Kaikōura is one of the few places on earth where you can swim with these acrobatic dolphins in their natural home, often in pods of several hundred. Your guide collects you from your hotel, so no one needs to drive, then you follow the scenic coast north past fur seal colonies. The operator provides a full wetsuit, mask and snorkel and a safety briefing; you slip in and the curious dolphins come to you, or watch from the boat. A fresh seaside lunch is included. Cancellation Policy
For day tours, cancellations with more than 7 days' notice are fully refundable. Cancellations between 7 days and 48 hours before departure incur a 50% fee; within 48 hours they are non-refundable. If we cancel for weather or operational reasons you receive a full refund or a free reschedule. We recommend travel insurance for all guests.
