Enjoy a premium private half-day coastal walk at spectacular Godley Head, travelling by private vehicle with your own local guide. Just 30 minutes from Christchurch, this flexible experience explores the dramatic landscape of an ancient extinct volcano at a pace that suits you. Walk approximately 4 km along rugged cliff tops, taking in restored WWII gun emplacements, Scott’s Cabin and sweeping views across Pegasus Bay, Lyttelton Harbour and the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy light refreshments and look out for seals, dolphins and native birdlife along the way. With around 2.5 hours of walking and 185 metres of elevation gain, the experience can be tailored to your interests. Morning and afternoon departures are available, with flexible start times.

Cancellation Policy
For direct bookings of 1–4 guests, cancellations made at least 48 hours before departure receive a full refund. For bookings of 5+ guests, at least 7 days’ notice is required. Later cancellations are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed. Date changes are subject to availability. Exceptional circumstances may be considered individually. Different terms may apply to trade or third-party bookings.
