Start at Christchurch's historic Bridge of Remembrance and discover the city with an experienced local guide. Over an easy-paced walk through central Christchurch, we'll explore the people, events and forces that created the city you see today.
Hear about the area's Māori history and early European settlement, discover some of Christchurch's most important historic places, and uncover fascinating details that most visitors simply walk past. We'll also tell the story of the 2010 and 2011 Canterbury earthquakes - what happened, what was lost, what survived and how Christchurch has rebuilt and reinvented itself since. This isn't a lecture. WALKnTALK tours are relaxed and interactive, using stories, photographs and maps.
