Walk Christchurch is one of the city's top visitor experiences, operated by a not-for-profit organisation and run by a group of local volunteer walking guides who are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and experienced.

An overview of Christchurch: how it was, how it is, and how it will be. Informative and relaxing. Discover hidden gems and top tips based on local knowledge. We will give you the inside story on Christchurch's history and culture, as well as major events and post-earthquake rebuild.
The Arts Centre Walking Tour:
Te Matatiki Toi Ora The Arts Centre, a charitable organisation, occupies New Zealand's largest collection of heritage buildings - a unique landmark dedicated to the arts and creativity. The guided tour shares stories of the site, highlighting remarkable people, historic achievements, and groundbreaking discoveries, while taking you to spaces not usually open to the public with great spots for photos.
Walks can be booked online or in person at The Arts Centre’s Clock Tower, 2 Worcester Boulevard.
1 June – 31 August: book online by 6pm on the evening before the walk. No walk-ups.
1 September – 31 May: book online to secure your spot. Walk-ups may be possible, subject to availability.
