Te Parito Kōwhai Russley School is situated in a park like setting with expansive grass areas including a cricket pitch, running track and climbing frames to suit both younger and older students.
Buildings are safely located down a long drive, distancing the classrooms from traffic disturbance. An extensive building programme is currently replacing older classrooms with innovative teaching spaces – this project will be completed in 2025.

Te Parito Kōwhai Russley School is a full primary catering for boys and girls in Years 1-8. Located in north-west Christchurch, our school is close to Christchurch International Airport and the University of Canterbury. Our kura accepts international students at all year levels and prioritises full year enrolments so that students can enjoy full immersion in New Zealand life, culture and education.
