Marian College

Marian College is a Catholic secondary school for girls in years 9 to 13, where international students can expect the very best education supported by dedicated teachers who display our values of community and excellence. With a school roll of 430 students, our teachers know every student personally.

Marian College offers high academic standards with full integration into mainstream subjects, supported by small, tailored ESOL classes.

International students are supported by a dedicated International Director and Assistant International Director who are on call 24/7 to ensure complete safety, and peace of mind.  International students live with welcoming local homestay families, carefully vetted and chosen for their reflection of Marian College values.

Our international students are welcomed and supported by a dedicated group of over 40 Marian College student buddies, who help them to settle into kiwi life, adjust to classes, join fun activities, and make lifelong friends.

Many subjects include field trips and learning outside the classroom opportunities such as visiting Queenstown, Banks Peninsula, and significant sites around the city.

With over 80% of our students involved in sports, clubs and cultural groups, there is a wide range of activities for our international students to join and create real connections.
