Year 7&8 Specialist Programme 
This feature provides in-depth learning using leading-edge teaching to ensure students are confident, adaptable, and well prepared to transition
easily to high school. Our smaller numbers ensure continuity for learning, and staff know the students personally. All students have opportunities to try new things, gain essential skills, find new interests, become communicators and leaders, and make good choices. 

Award to Halswell SIEBA 2023 for Service and Leadership to NZ International Education 
We are proud of our long history welcoming International Students and the global focus they add to the school. International families are given extra care and support from our International team on site, and the well-being of each child is monitored. 

Assistants help new students settle in, have helpful buddies, and build English confidence through our inclusive, structured support. We have first language assistants to help parents and students.
