Production grant

What you need to know

Production grants are available for the following activities:

• You have funding or finance in place
• You are filming 15 days or more in Ōtautahi Christchurch or Waitaha Canterbury
• 40% of your production crew are going to be locally hired.

Criteria eligibility

• These are some of the criteria you need to meet to be eligible to apply.
• Please ensure you review all relevant application information carefully to ensure you fully understand the eligibility requirements, assessment criteria, and any reporting requirements.
• Some requirements have changed so if you are applying for a second time, you will need to familiarize yourself with these updates.
• The specialist advisory body to ChristchurchNZ Management is: Catherine Bates, Chris Hampson, Dave Gibson, Gabrielle Huria, Jan Hayes, Pania Tyson- Nathan, Paula Jones, Ruth Harley, Tim White.

The main purpose is to represent the interests of Ōtautahi Christchurch through reviewing Screen Production Incentive Grant applications by providing an independent review of the applications and recommendations based on their industry expertise.
