Welcome Week-Waikākāriki Horseshoe Lake Planting Day
Connect with your community at our planting day. A perfect opportunity for newcomers and locals to meet, bond, and contribute to greening our city together.
What to bring:
Gardening gloves.
Full refillable water bottle.
There will be extra water and refreshments on site.
What to wear:
Sturdy, comfortable footwear and shoes you don’t mind getting muddy.
Warm layers and hiking boots are recommended.
Appropriate outdoor clothing (lightweight long-sleeved clothing and trousers) is required to protect yourself from cuts, scratches, and insect bites/stings.
CVNZ will provide all the tools for the activities.
To access the planting site, please come in via Queensbury St off New Brighton Road and turn right onto Goodman Road.
