Explore Kaikōura's spectacular coastline from water level on a small-group day tour from Christchurch, capped at eight guests, where the Southern Alps rise from the Pacific. Your guide collects you from your hotel, so you never need to drive. You follow the scenic coast north, then join a guided sea kayak along a shore famous for its wildlife, gliding close to resting fur seals and seabirds and, with luck, dusky dolphins, while your guide shares the natural history. Stable kayaks and full gear make it achievable with moderate fitness, on sheltered routes chosen for the day. A fresh seaside lunch is included. Includes complimentary hotel pickup and drop-off and an expert guide. Maximum eight guests.

Cancellation Policy
For day tours, cancellations with more than 7 days' notice are fully refundable. Cancellations between 7 days and 48 hours before departure incur a 50% fee; within 48 hours they are non-refundable. If we cancel for weather or operational reasons you receive a full refund or a free reschedule. We recommend travel insurance for all guests.
