Travel through Canterbury’s countryside to Glenafric Farm, a spectacular 770-hectare coastal sheep and cattle farm overlooking the South Pacific Ocean. Family-owned for three generations, Glenafric farm offers exclusive access to a genuine working farm and home to the world's rarest Merino sheep, from the remote Sub-Antarctic Campbell Island. Watch a live sheep-shearing demonstration, hand-feed friendly sheep, hold newborn lambs (within season), and enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch from Louise's Lookout. Sample some of Waipara's exceptional wines at George's Bay Winery before returning to Christchurch. Kiwi hospitality at its best.
