Situated only 90 minutes drive from Christchurch or Kaikoura, Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa is an extensive thermal complex in an alpine environment with large native gardens. The complex offers thermal mineral, sulfur and freshwater pools, as well as a large children's Activity and AquaPlay area. Featuring 22 outdoor thermal pools to relax in and two thrill rides, Conical Thrill (New Zealand's largest aquatic thrill ride) and SuperBowl, and two brand new state of the art hydroslides, there is something for everyone. Private thermal pools, sauna and steam rooms are available, with licensed cafe on site also.
