After searching the world for the perfect place to grow cool-climate wines, the Thomas family established Greystone Vineyard on the slopes of the Teviotdale hills in the Waipara Valley in 2004.
Our Cellardoor is famous for the quality of its food and wine pairings and offers a special long lunch pairing option Friday through Sunday. Please call or email to book for lunch.
While Pinot Noir makes up over 60% of the plantings, potential for other varieties led to Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and even a small block of Syrah being planted. Now Greystone wines are sought after world wide for their consistent quality and award winning reputation.
