Discover Godley Head on a full-day guided coastal walk just 30 minutes from Christchurch. After hotel pick-up, travel through Sumner for hot drinks before continuing to Taylors Mistake Beach. Follow a scenic 9 km loop past rugged cliffs, WWII gun emplacements and Scott’s Cabin, with views across Pegasus Bay, Lyttelton Harbour and the Southern Alps. Enjoy snacks and a gourmet picnic lunch while looking out for seals, dolphins and native birdlife, and learn about the history, geology and wildlife of Banks Peninsula. With a small group and relaxed pace, there is plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and take photographs.

Cancellation Policy
For direct bookings of 1–4 guests, cancellations made at least 48 hours before departure receive a full refund. For bookings of 5+ guests, at least 7 days’ notice is required. Later cancellations are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed. Date changes may be possible subject to availability. Exceptional circumstances may be considered individually. Different terms may apply to private, trade or third-party bookings.
