Esses is New Zealand's only single vineyard, sparkling estate. Esses specialises in sparkling wine made under full French method, Methode Traditionnelle, the same process as Champagne. Esses wines are highly sought after by Michelin Restaurants.

Esses Estate operates by Appointment 7 days a week, 11am-5pm. All year around. Bookings to book up in advance. We cannot guarantee walk-ins availability.
The Classic Tasting perfect introduction to Esses Estate, Kaikoura, Marlborough.
The tasting will take you through the history of the vineyard, Esses style of sparkling and to taste three of Esses Estates classic Méthode Traditionnelles, including their ever-popular non-vintage and two vintage méthodes. These are guided tastings. Tastings are by appointment only.
Esses tasting are best suited to singles, couples, and small groups, who are interested in learning about sparkling wine. Children are welcome but tastings are limited to people over 18+.
Our tasting offerings change seasonally, and vintages change regularly.
Anticipate approximately 30 minutes for the tasting.

There is a $5 rebate on tasting fee for wine purchase.
Under New Zealand Liquor Licensing laws, intoxicated persons or minors will not be served
