The picturesque Southern Alps are one of New Zealand’s most iconic land features. Fly over the vast Canterbury Plains inbound for Chest Peak – one of the highest mountains in the region at just under 6,500 ft. Then land at the top to witness the true breathtaking beauty this magnificent mountain range has to offer, before heading home.
Our pilots will personalise this experience for you by sharing their local knowledge and insights of our big backyard as you fly over remarkable sights and landmarks.

All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST (Goods and Services Tax at 15%) unless stated otherwise,
We’ll require the weights of all passengers and any luggage that they have.
All flights are subject to weather and may be cancelled at any time.
Routes and flight duration may also vary during flight due to ever changing weather conditions, this will be up to pilot’s discretion.
It is the passenger’s responsibility to follow instructions by staff.
Cancellation Policy
Full refund will be given if Christchurch Helicopters cancels a flight due to weather or other factors.
A 20% cancellation fee will apply if cancelled within 48hours of the flight. This will be a case by case basis as an exception may apply.
