Start your day with a stunning 4-minute ride up through native forest on NZ’s only alpine funicular railway. Spend the day exploring the rolling bowls & chutes of Broken River & Allan’s Basin. Take the Ridge Tow to Allan’s Basin for great powder runs and backcountry atmosphere. Relax in the sun with the locals on Palmer Lodge deck & sample Broken River’s own craft-brewed beer. Stay in our cosy on-mountain lodges, 10 mins walk from the lifts, for fine food & company.
