Mt Olympus
Mt Olympus is a remote, club‑run ski field tucked into the Craigieburn Range, celebrated for its big‑mountain freeride terrain, classic nutcracker tows, and a lodge culture that feels like a tight‑knit alpine community. Mt Olympus is a groomer-free zone with off-piste riding. There are no gear hire facilities on the mountain.
The mountain’s ski‑in/ski‑out lodge is the heart of the experience with ski weeks on offer.

- 80 hectares of skiable terrain, with 10% beginner, 55% intermediate and 35% advanced
- The top hut accommodates up to 52 overnight guests in 6 bunkrooms

Located 1.5–2 hours from Christchurch, Mt Olympus sits deep in the Southern Alps in a high, south‑facing basin at the southern end of the Craigieburn Range.
