Whakahā is a luxury holiday home on 12 private hectares in Peel Forest, South Canterbury. The four-bedroom house sleeps 10, with generous open-plan living, a chef's kitchen made for feasting, and a snug/media room. Every room frames views of Mt Hutt, Mt Peel, and the Rangitata River below. Outside is an outdoor fire, covered BBQ, woodfired hot tub, outdoor bath and a private walking path to the river's edge. You're a 15-minute walk from ancient podocarp forest over 1,000 years old. Every stay is fully provisioned (food, firewood, and luxury essentials), with one experience included: a private chef dinner, guided nature adventure, or group photography. A remote concierge is on call throughout.

Conditions
Exclusive use property — the full house is yours for your stay. 3-night minimum (year-round); 5–6 nights at Christmas and Easter. 50% deposit secures dates, balance due 30 days before arrival. Well-behaved, non-shedding dogs welcome inside. Horses may be grazed on the property. Families with infants welcome - portacots available.
Cancellation Policy
All payments are non-refundable. No security deposit required.
