Otahuna Lodge, a Relais & Chateaux property, offers seven exceptional suites set within an 1895 New Zealand homestead surrounded by 30 acres of its own century-old botanic gardens. The two master suites and five suites retain grand architectural features from the 19th century, such as 15 working fireplaces, carved inglenooks and stained glass windows.
Situated at the base of the Banks Peninsula, Otahuna Lodge is only 30 minutes’ drive from Christchurch airport and the city centre, making it the ideal place from which to explore Canterbury. Wineries, private gardens, championship golf, world-class fishing and even the world’s rarest dolphins are all just a short drive – or helicopter ride – from the front lawn.

Children under the age of 12 are only permitted by exclusive use of the property.
Cancellation Policy
All bookings cancelled 30-14 days prior to arrival incur a penalty of 1 night per room booked. Bookings cancelled within 14 days of arrival incur a penalty of 100% of the charges.
