Montrose’s three luxury self-contained homes sit on 260 hectares in a private valley with two kilometres of Rakaia river frontage. Located at the foot of Mount Hutt ski field it is an ideal base for skiers during winter. Our private self-contained experience is a stunning base for relaxation and exhilaration in outstanding natural landscapes. Montrose Estate can accommodate from two to 20 people in style, with spa baths, free Wi-Fi and Sky TV just some of the luxuries. Hoturoa, the owners’ retreat is an elegant, modern four-bedroom home, with two living rooms and two bathrooms overlooking the lake and river. All bookings will be instantly confirmed at the time of booking.
Children are welcome.Children under 1 are free of charge.Children above the age of 1 are charged full rate. All bookings are subject to a minimum two night stay. Rates are seasonal and vary at different times of the year.
All rates advertised online are in New Zealand dollars including GST of 15%.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation within 30 days of arrival date: 50% forfeit of the total booking price.Cancellation within 7 days of arrival date: 100% forfeit of the total booking price.For reservations between 15 December and 15 January: Cancellations made within 60 days of arrival incur a 50% cancellation fee for each night cancelled. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival incur a 100% cancellation fee for each night cancelled .
