Terms & Conditions

1. The promoter of this promotion is ChristchurchNZ, Level 3, 101 Cashel Street, Christchurch, 8011, New Zealand.
2. To be eligible, entrants must complete all fields in the online form housed on Formstack during the promotion period.
3. Entrants have the opportunity to opt into ChristchurchNZ's newsletter database. Their data will not be shared with third parties, and entrants can opt out of receiving newsletter updates at the time of entry or by unsubscribing at any time.
4. The promotion opens at 9am NZDT on Thursday 15 October 2026 and closes at 12:00pm NZDT on Monday 19 October 2026 (promotion period).
5. Entries received outside the promotion period will not be accepted.
6. The promotion is open to those who reside in Ōtautahi, Christchurch and the Waitaha, Canterbury province only.
7. Entrants must be aged 10 years or older.
8. Entrants under 18 years of age (minor) may enter only with the prior consent of a parent or legal guardian. If the winner is a minor, they must be accompanied by at least one adult 18 years and over to redeem the prize.
9. Employees of ChristchurchNZ and their close relatives, and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation of the promotion, are not eligible to enter.
10. The winner will be selected from all valid entries by ChristchurchNZ and at ChristchurchNZ’s discretion.
11. The winner will be drawn at random at 12pm NZDT on Monday 19 October 2026 from eligible entries.
12. The winner will be notified by email or phone within 2 hours of the draw at the conclusion of the promotion on Monday 19 October 2026.
13. There is no entry fee to enter this promotion.
14. Only one entry per person.
15. If the winner cannot be contacted by ChristchurchNZ within 6 hours of the notification, ChristchurchNZ reserves the right to re-select a replacement winner.
16. ChristchurchNZ is not liable for any entries, prize claim or correspondence that are misplaced, misdirected, delayed, lost, incomplete, illegible, or incorrectly submitted.
17. ChristchurchNZ reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion, including the prize, and these Terms and Conditions without notice because of circumstances outside of ChristchurchNZ’s reasonable control. Any changes to the promotion will be notified via relevant promotion posts as soon as possible by ChristchurchNZ.
18. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable.
19. Any additional costs incurred by the winner to redeem the prize such as transport, food & beverage, room service, minibar, or any other surcharges which are not explicitly stated in the promotion, remain the sole responsibility of the winner.
20. ChristchurchNZ reserves the right to disqualify any entry or refuse to award the prize where false or misleading details have been given or where an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner or otherwise than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
21. ChristchurchNZ’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the promotion will be final.
22. Entrants may have rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, which cannot be excluded or limited by ChristchurchNZ. These Terms and Conditions do not intend to exclude or limit those statutory rights in any way. However, to the extent it is permitted by law to do so, ChristchurchNZ makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, under laws other than the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 regarding the quality or suitability of the prize as part of this promotion and will not be responsible for breach of such representations or warranties.
23. To the full extent permitted by law, ChristchurchNZ will not be liable to the winner in respect of any claim for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever (including, without limitation, any consequential, indirect special, punitive or incidental damages) or for any physical or mental injury suffered by the winner or companion/s as a result of in connection with the promotion or by reason of the utilisation or application of the prize won in the promotion.
24. The winner agrees to the use of their name and image and/or details of their entry in publicity material related to the promotion. Personal data will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and will be subject to ChristchurchNZ’s Privacy Policy. All entrants’ details will be collected and held by ChristchurchNZ only for the purposes of this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purposes of processing and conducting the promotion). You can access, and request correction of your personal information held by ChristchurchNZ by contacting ChristchurchNZ via its website.
25. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, or any other social network. You are providing your information to ChristchurchNZ and not to any other party.
26. All prize elements offered are governed by the specific attraction or events’ terms and conditions of entry or use. The winner agrees to comply with these conditions of entry.
27. ChristchurchNZ and suppliers can change prizes at their discretion. If the prize, or any element of the prize, is unavailable for reasons beyond ChristchurchNZ’s reasonable control, ChristchurchNZ reserves the right to substitute the prize, or elements of the prize, for prizes of equivalent or greater value.
